Michelangelo Antonioni, born in 1912 in bourgeois surroundings of the italian province.He studied economics and commerce while he painted and also wrote criticism for a local newspaper.In 1939 he went to Rome and worked for a journal "Cinema', studying directorship at the School of Cinema.Working as a director himself later on he won several prices.For me he is the real master of cinema, with titles like: L'avventura, Zabriskie point and the most famous one: Blow up, which you see an image of above.If you haven't seen this one, then watch the Retrospective at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam, it's on wednesday the 1 st of july.It gave me a lot of inspiration for styling and also Jane Birkin has a small role in it, worth seeing it!
